Bill's Vinyl Fantasy is an internet radio
station heard over the Live365 internet
radio service.
BVF features music from back in the
days when the LP record was still the
most popular format used in the
distribution of music.
BVF webcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. Most of that time streaming
music running right from the servers
of Live365.
On occasion, however, the studio gets
powered up and BVF listeners get a live
three hour show called "Vinyl Stew".
So, now that you know more about
Bill’s Vinyl Fantasy, you’re probably
wondering who this “Bill” guy is...
I was a DJ on commercial radio for
almost twenty years. I have manned the
airwaves in the Boston area, also in
Worcester, Springfield, and Cape Cod.
Over the years, I have been lucky
enough to work with some really terrific
people, meet my share of music and
sports celebrities.

I still do some freelance radio on
occasion, but now I mainly focus on community television and local access media. However, this doesn't
mean I've totally gotten radio out of my system. Hence, I set up this internet radio station.
Running BVF is a lot of fun. I get back on the air (kind of), I can do the kind of show I want to do, and I can
play whatever the hell music I want. It also gives me a chance to go digging deep into my record collection,
which I started building in the late 1970's. The cool thing about this is that I get to rediscover some of the
hidden vinyl gems that I haven't gotten to listen to lately. (In doing the music, I can also archive my older LPs
into my computer.)
