BVF LATENITE
|

BVF LateNite airs late nights (11 p.m. - 6 a.m. EST) and features a mix of music tailored to late night
and early morning listening. Where other late night music programs use terms like “Light Hits”, “Easy
Favorites”, “Soft Rock”, etc., BVF LateNite plays what we describe as “Night Rock”.
“Night Rock” refers to songs that, though slower in tempo, maintain a semblance of intensity or power.
(No, it’s not a non-stop stream of 1980s hair-metal ballads.) It’s music that works for late night listening,
but it’s not necessarily music to which you would want to fall asleep.
Vinyl Stew is a program that has aired live on Bill’s Vinyl Fantasy from
time to time since its inception in 2007. It came from the BVF studios and
began on Sunday nights, then was changed to Friday afternoons (where it
picked up more online listenership).
In addition, special “instructional” editions
of Vinyl Stew have aired in which host Bill
Robert appeared along with students of his
Radio Broadcasting classes at Wilmington
Community Television.
At this point the BVF studio is under new
construction, so the show is on hiatus.
There are also plans for a morning show which will feature a more up-tempo mix of music, as well as
comedy “Laff Trax” from some of the best comedians ever caught on vinyl, including George Carlin,
Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, and Rodney Dangerfield. Stay tuned for more information on the new Bill’s
Vinyl Fantasy morning show!
